OUR STORY

 Suncrest Signs Ltd. is a family run business that was established by Les Bignold over 25 years ago. In his earlier years Les had numerous jobs and interests including carpentry and raising poultry. As he worked on his farm, he felt that his creative talents were being wasted on the chickens. He soon saw an opportunity to begin a monument business. Many rewarding hours were spent lending a listening ear and giving words of comfort to the bereaved. As his family grew, he established Suncrest Signs Ltd. and later on Tomcat Systems. Through their family business, Les and his wife Cheryl, formed many lifelong friendships.

 Les provided well for his family, he was a loving father, and was passionate about his business. He strove to provide excellent service for his customers with honesty and integrity. He also held a special place in his heart for each employee that joined the team.

 In the summer of 2014 Les began to realize that he was not well, and, as our Sign and Fluid Level Indicator businesses seemed to be taking over, we sold the monument division to a neighbour down the road.

 We were deeply grieved when Les left us in July, 2015. It has left an empty void that nobody can replace. However, our family, our faith, and our friends are a tremendous help as we continue through this journey. We want to thank you, our loyal friends and customers, for sticking with us through this difficult time. We are forever grateful.
